Do you know what it takes to produce a winning scholarship video? How does a video scholarship differ from a written essay? Autumn Carlson, a recent high school graduate shares how she made a quality video that landed her scholarship dollars. She will also share how small scholarships can add up.
Autumn is from Atlanta, GA and is the second oldest of nine children. Growing up with a lot of siblings has taught her about being flexible and pulling her weight so that everything can run smoothly. Because she was homeschooled, she was able to do so much more than the average 17-year old. Her two favorite activities in high school were public speaking and volunteering. She competed in speech tournaments around the country and qualified for Nationals both years she competed. She has been volunteering at her local community center before starting high school. She has tutored students, taught English as a Second Language, and led a Bible Club. Autumn will be attending Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in the fall and will major in Spanish and minor in Global Studies.
